Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 August 2026 · Forest Technologies (פורסט טכנולוגיות מסחר אלקטרוני בע״מ)
1. This agreement
These terms are the agreement between Forest Technologies (פורסט טכנולוגיות מסחר אלקטרוני בע״מ), company number 516101516, which operates the Bookie service at bookie.forestech.io, and the organization that signs up for the service, together with everyone who uses it on that organization's behalf. Using the service means accepting these terms.
Whoever signs up on behalf of an organization confirms that they are authorized to bind it to this agreement.
Purchase for business use. Bookie is sold to organizations for the purposes of their business. Choosing a plan and confirming payment constitute the organization's declaration that the service is purchased in the course of its business and for its business use, and the invoice is issued in the organization's name. That declaration is a foundation of this agreement and of the price set in it, and section 11 rests on it.
The privacy policy is part of this agreement and lives at bookie.forestech.io/privacy/en.
The Hebrew version is the binding one. This English version is provided for ease of reading.
2. What the service does
Bookie schedules meetings across several Google calendars. It finds the times that are free for every participant, lets you book one immediately, and lets you send an external party a link to pick a time from what is free at that moment.
The service works with Google Workspace and Google Calendar only.
3. Account, organization and roles
- Sign in is through a Google account. The Google account is the credential for the service, so its own security, including two step verification and control over who can reach it, is the basis of access security for Bookie.
- The organization is the customer. Whoever creates the organization is its admin, and may invite and remove members, appoint further admins, manage billing and delete the organization.
- A member connects their calendar so that Bookie can compute their availability. They may disconnect at any moment, including from the permissions page of their Google account.
- The organization tells its people that their calendar is connected to Bookie and for what purpose, and keeps the member list current as people join and leave.
4. What Bookie does with your Google Calendar
The permissions the organization grants Bookie serve three actions, and this is the complete list:
- Reading free and busy ranges. Bookie reads the start time and end time of busy ranges in the connected calendars, in order to compute when everyone is free together.
- Listing the calendars in the account. So that you can see which calendars are connected and choose among them.
- Creating the meetings the organization asks for. Bookie creates the meeting on the primary calendar of the person booking it, and updates or cancels it at her request. Bookie touches only the events it created itself.
Times offered through a link stay free in the calendar until one of them is chosen, and the meeting is written to the calendar the moment it is picked. The organization's admin decides who is invited to each meeting.
Event titles and descriptions stay in the calendar. Bookie shows times.
5. Scheduling between organizations
When two organizations use Bookie, either one can ask the other to schedule a shared meeting. What crosses between them is the list of time windows that are free for both sides.
In addition, once the admin of the answering organization explicitly marks her consent, the email addresses of the participants she selected cross as well, so that the calendar invitation can be sent. That consent is required for every single request.
This is the complete list of what crosses between organizations. Titles, descriptions, participant names, busy blocks and availability settings stay with the organization they belong to.
6. Free trial
A full 30 day trial, starting when the organization is created. Card details are entered the moment the organization chooses a plan.
When the trial ends, and until a plan is chosen, the data is kept in full: meetings already booked and booking links already sent keep working. Opening new scheduling resumes as soon as a plan is chosen and paid for.
7. Price and VAT
Two plans, at one price for the whole organization. The price covers every feature and every member, on both plans.
| Plan | Net price | Added | What it buys |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | ILS 50 per month | VAT at the rate in force under Israeli law on the billing date | One month, renewing |
| Annual | ILS 500 per year, one time payment | VAT at the rate in force under Israeli law on the billing date | Twelve months of service |
Displayed prices are net. VAT is added to each payment at the statutory rate applicable to the transaction on the date the tax becomes chargeable under law, and every invoice keeps the rate that applied to it when it was issued. A change in the VAT rate applies to payments in respect of which the tax becomes chargeable after the change takes effect, even where the price was set beforehand. The net price stays as it is either way.
The full amount payable, VAT included, is shown on the plan selection screen before you move to the payment page.
Card details are entered directly on SUMIT's secure payment page and are held there. The tax document is issued through iCount and emailed to the account admin, and it is also available on the billing screen inside the product.
8. The monthly plan
ILS 50 plus VAT per month. Choosing the plan opens a standing order at SUMIT, and the card is charged once a month.
The monthly plan renews automatically each month until cancelled. Cancelling inside the product stops the charges that follow, and the service keeps working to the end of the month already paid for.
A failed monthly payment gets a grace period and an automatic notification to the account admin, and service continues as usual once payment is settled. Access is kept in full throughout that period.
9. The annual plan
ILS 500 plus VAT, a single payment that buys twelve months.
The annual plan is a one time payment that buys twelve months of service. The next charge happens only when the account admin chooses to renew, and the decision about another year stays with the organization each year.
Reminders go by email to the account admin 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before the year ends, and on the day it ends.
At the end of the twelve months the data is kept in full, existing meetings and links keep working, and opening new scheduling returns with the next payment, immediately.
10. Cancellation
Cancellation is self-service inside the product, on the billing screen, the moment the account admin chooses it.
- On the monthly plan cancelling stops the charges that follow, and the service keeps working to the end of the month already paid for.
- On the annual plan the payment is already made and the service runs to the end of the year paid for. Each year stands on its own, and the decision about another year stays with the organization.
- Deleting the organization is a further self-service action, on the account screen, and it erases the data on the schedule set out in the privacy policy.
11. Refunds
Every payment is final and buys the period it covers. A monthly payment buys a month, and an annual payment buys twelve months. After a cancellation the service keeps running to the end of that period, which is exactly what the payment bought.
The decision rests on real use: the full 30 trial days come before any payment, and card details are entered only after them. The organization gets to know the product before paying for it.
The basis for this policy. The organization purchases Bookie in the course of its business and for business use, as it declares in section 1. The Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of a Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010 apply to someone who buys an asset or receives a service for a use that is mainly personal, domestic or familial. A purchase an organization makes for the purposes of its business sits outside that scope, so these terms set the refund policy in full. An organization that buys for a use that is mainly personal, domestic or familial enjoys the cancellation rights in that Law and those Regulations in full, and they prevail over this section.
A charge made in error. A duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation, or a charge for an amount other than the one shown on the plan selection screen is refunded in full. One message to bookie@forestech.io is enough, and we handle it.
12. What the organization is responsible for
- Accurate details. The organization name, the account admin's email address and the billing details are current and correct.
- Authority to connect calendars. The organization confirms that it has the authority to ask its people to connect their Google calendars to Bookie, and that they know what Bookie reads and for what purpose. Where a Google Workspace administrator's approval is required, the organization arranges it.
- Lawful use. Use of the service follows the law that applies to the organization and follows Google's own terms of service.
- The accounts. The organization is responsible for what is done through its people's Google accounts, and keeps the member list current as people leave.
13. Acceptable use
The service serves the organization in scheduling its own meetings. These are the undertakings the use rests on:
- Invitations and messages go to people the organization is scheduling a meeting with.
- Availability information is obtained through the interface Bookie provides, and about people who connected a calendar or were invited to a meeting.
- Tenant separation, rate limits and security controls are left as they are. Security scans and penetration tests are arranged with us in advance and in writing, and we are glad to arrange them.
- The licence covers the organization's own use. A further organization opens an account of its own, at the price of an account.
- The design, the interface and the Bookie name are used inside the product itself.
- Use follows the law and follows Google's own terms of service.
The volume of calls to Google's APIs is finite. We throttle unusual usage to keep the service healthy for every customer, and we tell the account admin when that happens.
14. Availability and support
We run the service continuously, monitor it and maintain it. The service runs against Google's APIs, and an outage or a change at Google reaches it too.
This agreement provides the service as it is and at the availability at which it actually runs. A contractual commitment to a measured availability level, of the kind set out in an SLA, is a separate product and is agreed separately.
Support is by email at bookie@forestech.io, in Hebrew and in English.
15. Intellectual property and your data
The software, the design, the name and the marks of Bookie are the property of Forest Technologies (פורסט טכנולוגיות מסחר אלקטרוני בע״מ). This agreement grants the organization a licence to use the service, for the organization itself, for the period paid for.
The data of the organization and of its people belongs to them. We use it to run the service for them, in line with the privacy policy.
Meeting content serves the running of the service for the organization, and that is the only use made of it.
Feedback the organization sends us about the product helps us improve it, and we may use it to improve the service.
16. Limitation of liability
The service is provided as it is. The liability of Forest Technologies (פורסט טכנולוגיות מסחר אלקטרוני בע״מ) to the organization is for direct damage, and it is limited to the greater of two amounts: the sums actually paid to Bookie in the twelve months preceding the event on which liability is claimed, or ILS 5,000.
That cap applies to all heads of loss together and separately, including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, business interruption and consequential damage, and including damage originating in Google's APIs or in another third party service the product relies on. This section sits with section 10 of the Contracts (Remedies for Breach of Contract) Law, 5731-1970, under which compensation covers the loss that the party in breach foresaw or should have foreseen as a probable consequence of the breach.
Liability for bodily injury and liability for a wilful act remain whole, as section 5(b) of the Standard Contracts Law, 5743-1982 provides. Alongside them, and by our own choice, liability for fraud and liability for gross negligence remain whole too. The cap in this section addresses the remaining heads of liability.
This allocation of risk is part of the price: the service is priced at ILS 50 per month or ILS 500 per year, plus VAT, and the cap follows the amount the organization actually pays.
The organization indemnifies Forest Technologies (פורסט טכנולוגיות מסחר אלקטרוני בע״מ) against a third party claim arising from use of the service that goes beyond the undertakings in sections 12 and 13, provided that we tell the organization about the claim promptly and let it conduct the defence.
17. Changes to these terms
We update these terms as the product develops and as the law changes. The updated version is published at bookie.forestech.io/terms and carries the date it was updated.
A change that affects the price or the scope of the service is emailed to the account admin at least fourteen days before it takes effect. During that window the organization chooses: continue on the updated terms, or cancel and keep using the service to the end of the period already paid for.
The price of a period already paid for stays as it is. A price change applies to the period that follows.
18. Termination for breach
We may suspend or terminate an account in three cases: use that goes beyond sections 12 or 13, a payment that stays open at the end of the grace period, or use that endangers the stability of the service or its other customers.
Before a suspension, the account admin receives a notice that sets out the ground and gives a period to put it right. Where a serious breach calls for immediate action to protect the service or other customers, the notice goes out together with the suspension.
After termination the organization may export its data and delete it, and we keep it and erase it on the schedule set out in the privacy policy.
19. Governing law and jurisdiction
The law governing this agreement and everything arising from it is the law of the State of Israel.
Forest Technologies (פורסט טכנולוגיות מסחר אלקטרוני בע״מ) runs its business from Israel. Sole and exclusive local jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement rests with the competent courts of Tel Aviv Yafo, and this provision applies equally to both parties.
A customer who is a consumer as defined in the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 may also bring a claim before any other court that has jurisdiction under law.
A section found to be unenforceable is read to the fullest extent the law allows it, and the remaining sections stay in force.
Google Limited Use disclosure
Bookie's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
